POLJBJ OFFJCJRS CHARGED AFTER PROBE
Five police officers have been
charged witX attempting to pervert
the course of justice.
The charges follow an investigation
by Scotland Yard's special
complaints branch.
They allege that the officers
eailed to offer a breath test to an
off-duty policeman whose car
crashed on London's Tower Bridge.
Thj two sergeants and three
constables have been bailed to
appear in court on 16 December.
